Pretty in Zinc SPF50+ Dreamscreen 75ml

Usually I hate mineral/physical SPFs bc of the overly thick consistency that makes it hard to apply, it feels very heavy or sticky on the face, stings my face, makes my face more greasy, oily or peels off.

I have the Clear as Day SPF from Airyday which I really liked as it felt very lightweight, and it’s great for those days where I don’t want any makeup or tint, plus it’s very hydrating and doesn’t make my skin more oily or greasy.

Pretty in Zinc is the best mineral SPF I’ve tried so far and actually love it. It’s fragrance free and I love that it’s suitable for acne-prone and sensitive skins as I’m struggling with some acne and redness on my face. The consistency isn’t overly thick, which makes application and rubbing it into the skin much easier.

I love how it blends in with my natural skin tone, and it doesn’t have too much tint in it, so it’s also perfect for the makeup-free days. It has enough tint to reduce my redness, blotchiness and make my skin tone look more even, yet still looks natural.

It’s perfect for my oily skin as it’s not greasy on my face, yet still gives a nice little shine/glow to the skin. And I love the slight blurring effect that it gives to my skin.

Much nicer to use than Naked Sundays as it doesn’t sting my face, doesn’t feel heavy or make my skin oily, and the consistency of the SPF makes it a lot easier to apply the product and rub it in.

I have repurchased Pretty in Zinc three times now and have absolutely nothing negative to say about this product. It goes on like a lightweight mouse and blends seamlessly into the skin. It has a tint, so there is no white cast whatsoever. It leaves my skin hydrated and glowing. I will never purchase another face sunscreen again. 10/10 recommend! Thank you Airyday!!

Perfect sunscreen

I bad seen AD on IG but got the chance to try it when my dermatologist gave me some samples. I bought the zinc and love it, the perfect make up primer, beautiful finish and most of all great protection - I was at the dermatologist’s getting moles cut out - taking sunscreen very seriously these days! Would love a darker tint to come out in this.

I ordered three different types of sunscreen from airday. Golden Glow went to my daughter as it has a very strong fragrance that didn’t go away. She doesn’t mind fragrance. Pretty In Zinc is a nice tinted mineral sunscreen. I’m a bit confused by the ingredients. Box says the lotion contains phenoxyethanol 6 yet the description of ingredients online doesn’t. Which is it? I don’t use products with this chemical. It has no fragrance and leaves a lovely smooth non sticky finish perfect for under makeup. Clear as Day goes on clear and leaves a lovely finish, no fragrance and great base for makeup. Not sticky. I’d buy the clear as day again and I’d buy pretty in Zinc if it becomes clearer about the ingredients.

I recently bought the Pretty in Zinc and Mineral Mousse minis to test out. Here are my thoughts:
- Both are very lightweight, but the Mineral Mousse feels completely invisible. The Mineral Mousse feels really oily when you apply it (maybe because of the silicones in it), but within a few minutes, it feels like nothing on the skin.
- Neither product was sticky or tacky at all.
- The Mineral Mousse spreads SO much easier. The Pretty in Zinc takes more work to spread and the finish is a little uneven on the skin.
- The Mineral Mousse plays better with other skincare/makeup products (I use a few serums and a moisturiser in the morning. All products are oil free as oils don’t always work well with SPF products - the oils can increase the chance of pilling). Zero pilling and no clinging. The Pretty in Zinc pilled a little and my foundation clung to it a little bit in certain areas. The Mineral Mousse just looks flawless.
- The Mineral Mousse blurred and evened out my skin far more than the Pretty in Zinc. I don’t even want to wear makeup over the Mineral Mousse. I have very pale skin and didn’t find that the tint was too much - it isn’t even noticeable.
- They look almost identical on the skin. The Pretty in Zinc is slightly more ‘dewy’ while the Mineral Mousse gives kind of a satin finish (I wouldn’t call it totally matte? It’s like a luminous matte/satin). I think the difference in finish became a little more noticeable when I put foundation over the top.
- The Pretty in Zinc is maybe a little less dry than the Mineral Mousse. Only just, though. They feel very similar. In saying that, the Mineral Mousse definitely didn’t feel drying on my skin.
Overall, out of the two, the Mineral Mousse is the clear winner for me. I have nothing but good things to say about it. I have already ordered a full size.

If you have acneic, sensitive skin. This is your GO TO. I cannot rate this formula enough. Im huge on skincare and my skin just loves this stuff. It never irritates my skin or my acne flare ups. In fact it actually helps to settle and calm my skin. Its long lasting and I wear it alone as a base for my makeup every day. It has just enough coverage/blurring effect that i dont need to wear any other foundation ontop.
Just the best!!!

I like how it gives a slight coverage where I don’t need to wear any makeup. It also has a nice, smooth texture.

I recently bought the pretty in zinc after recommendation off a friend. The zinc is beautifully light weight, glowy and has great supportive ingredients. Definitely my new favourite everyday SPF.

My cousin who knows all the cool brands put me onto Airyday - I initially bought the Clear as Day and was thoroughly impressed. It's perfect for every day use and works well under makeup. I wanted something a bit stronger for the weekends as I am normally outside more & the Pretty in Zinc is truly amazing. Great coverage and also works well under a light foundation. Love this brand and these products!!!
